I am not a pure blood web analyst. In fact I come from the dark dimensions of IT and reaching the web analytics world has been (and still is) a tough swim uphill and against the current. I have had to do a lot of reading, a lot of listening and committing a lot of painful mistakes to reach the front line trenches but where there's a will, there's a way… Or at least a winding path with a lot of tricky spots.

However, caught in the passionate whirlwind of investigation I have found myself helping organize the Internet Marketing Conference that will take place in Barcelona next October, and while trying to design an agenda I couldn't help the feeling that something was missing. After all, we want the Barcelona event to be different, to have that extra something… So we decided to open a call for papers, or presentations, to give all the interesting people with the exciting things to say have a chance to get a word in.

And up to date we have had some really great submissions, mostly by independent researchers who feel they have something that can contribute to the industry and they want the chance to put it to the test. Choosing the best is going to be a tough assignment, I can tell you! But, we want it to be tougher!

So this is a last call to all those of you who would like the chance to face an audience in Barcelona and present your idea to the world. All kind of submissions are accepted for revision as long as they relate to "Web Analytics tools & SEO". Even workshops, if you feel it is the best way to get your message through! You have until the 1^st of July to send your idea for us to review. Sunny Barcelona is waiting!
